Charles Finnie joins the West Coast team as a General Partner for the CMGI @Ventures B2B Fund. Finnie brings more than 15 years of investment, management and strategic consulting experience to CMGI @Ventures. Finnie spent nearly a decade at San Francisco-based investment bank Volpe Brown Whelan (now called Prudential Volpe Technology Group), where he helped guide Internet investing strategy in such companies as VerticalNet (Nasdaq: VERT), Chemdex (Nasdaq: CMDX) and RoweCom, among others. Prior to Volpe, Finnie was a research analyst at Alex. Brown and Sons (now Deutsche Alex. Browne). Prior to that, he was a research analyst with management consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton.
William Wilson, III, former Chairman of Cornerstone Properties, Inc. and founder of William Wilson & Associates, is the Chairman of Wilson Equity Office. For over 30 years, Wilson and his associates have been active in the West Coast real estate industry and are considered premier developers for high tech office space in the Bay Area.
