Corrigo Earns Microsoft Mobility Solutions Certification

Corrigo recognized as expert in developing mobile solutions in Microsoft Partner Program

Release Date:

Wilsonville, OR—May 9, 2006—Corrigo, Inc., a leading provider of on-demand service management solutions, announced that it has earned Microsoft’s Mobility Solutions Competency.

The Mobility Solutions Competency is awarded to software applications developers who have proven competency in developing and deploying Microsoft Windows Mobile®-based solutions using Microsoft products.  Corrigo’s mobile web application developers passed rigorous testing to achieve the certification, and Corrigo’s mobile customers supplied performance and reliability references.  The mobile solutions certification complements Corrigo’s earlier recognition as a Certified Solutions Developer in Microsoft’s Certified Partner program, and one of Corrigo’s developers as a Mobility MVP.

“Developing for Windows Mobile allows us to offer our customers a richer in-field experience,” noted Richard Michaux, president of Corrigo.  “We are able to fully harness the power of Windows Mobile 5.0 devices for improved usability and data capture.”

Corrigo used its Windows Mobile expertise to develop a Windows Mobile 5.0 client for the Corrigo Spring 2006 release.  The Windows Mobile 5.0 client allows Corrigo customers more flexibility and handset options. Like Corrigo’s other handheld clients, the Windows Mobile 5.0 client will be able to manage and execute maintenance work orders in the field.  When the device is out of wireless coverage, the user will be able to continue working.  Once the user is back in coverage, the application is updated. New with the Windows Mobile 5.0 client launch, Corrigo is providing support for signature capture for invoicing and barcode support for mobile inventory management.
