Corrigo Announces Spring ‘06 Release

Field Staff and Corporate Management Get New Tools for Service Productivity

Wilsonville, OR—May 31, 2006—Corrigo, Inc., the leading provider of on-demand building service management solutions, announced its Spring ’06 release, the only wireless, web-based work order application to deliver productivity benefits to everyone in the service delivery chain—from dispatchers to field staff to service managers.

New with this release are at-a-glance, calendar-view dispatch boards, service management dashboards, and graphical reports that give service dispatchers and managers better visibility into work order status and improved workload leveling.  Remote, mobile capability and improved mobile device support enables field managers to create and assign work orders and view workloads at the point of service.  The addition of Bluetooth peripheral support enables easy scanning of parts inventory to ensure accurate parts and materials tracking, and the new release is compatible with Sprint, Verizon and Cingular wireless services and mobile devices.

Corrigo based the new features and functions of the Spring ’06 release on its 400 customers’ top requirements and requests.

“We listened to our customers and responded with enhancements that significantly improve their work order and dispatch operations, as well as provide them with more work views for better management of the maintenance process,” noted Richard Michaux, president of Corrigo. “As our customer base upgrade, they will see significant productivity and efficiency benefits.”

Highlights of the Spring ’06 release include—

  • Calendar view—The ability to schedule and see work orders on a daily, weekly or monthly view.
  • Mobile Manager—The ability to remotely view, assign and reassign work orders, check work order status and view team workloads.  Helps small operations that do not have a dispatcher.
  • Bluetooth peripheral support—The ability to print and scan while in the field.
  • Security enhancements—New security features, such as role access control, password regulation and SSL-enabled encryption, represent the industry standard for protecting information and helping enable standardization for geographically dispersed businesses.
  • Dashboard, graphical reports—Multilayered reports provide summary and detailed information, as well as hyperlinks, charts and graphs.
  • Vendor portal updates—Improve the ability and ease of vendors to search, respond and coordinate work orders.

The release is available now in either the CorrigoNet or CorrigoConnect package.  Free trials are available.
