SPECIAL REPORT: Facilities Management At The Crossroads
One traditional trade off in management of multi-site facilities has been control and insight versus costs. Because multi-site facilities organizations rely on subcontractors to perform a share of the work, facilities organizations could decrease their costs but only by reducing their control over results and their insight into what is happening. Conversely, a facilities organization could step up and take more control and delivering more real time insight and accountability but needs more budget to do so.
