Corrigo Cares program will help provide 1 million meals in partnership with Feeding America®
Tualatin, OR – September 5, 2019 – Corrigo, a JLL company and world’s largest facilities management platform, today announced Corrigo Cares, a company-wide initiative that directly connects the work completed via the company’s network of over 2.5 million users to help provide meals* to people in need. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) 2018 Household Food Security Statistics released earlier this week, 37 million Americans face hunger annually, including more than 11 million children. Corrigo’s core values are predicated on helping others, and the company’s name means “to heal or set right” in Latin. Our effort to help provide meals is one small opportunity for the company to give back to local communities in need.
The Corrigo Cares program launches in partnership with Feeding America®, the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States. For every three work orders in the United States sent over the Corrigo platform, Corrigo Cares will donate one meal to Feeding America. In the program’s first year, Corrigo will donate more than 1 million meals nationwide via the Feeding America network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries that serve every county in the United States.
